Nelson Gullett is your host for The Americana Pulse every Wednesday night from 7:00-10:30. Each week, Nelson helps you keep your finger on the Pulse of Americana by sharing the heart of the songs and the roots of the music every Wednesday night.

The Americana Pulse’s primary focus is new music, with a large chunk of each week’s playlist being comprised of brand new songs that were just released in the week leading up to the show. In addition, Nelson also likes to mine music from the past to help draw the musical line from past recordings to current releases. Artist features, theme sets, and a diverse playlist featuring a wide variety of voices are also staples of The Americana Pulse from week to week. Stay through the end of the show every week to hear Nelson feature a tune from his favorite band, R.E.M.
