Marcianne and Buz

Marcianne O’Day
Growing up in a musical family, Marcianne’s first fiddle teacher was her grandfather. She studied Philosophy at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), where she also minored in Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music. While at ETSU, Marcianne was a founding member of the ETSU Celtic Band, toured Scotland and Ireland, and appeared on their first release, A Carrying Stream. She has played with regional Irish band Sigean since 2009. Marcianne lives and works in Roan Mountain with her partner Buz and their two dogs, Edna and Aoife. When not obsessing over music and work, she loves to hike and quilt.

Buz Lee
Buz is a musician and paranormal enthusiast based in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. He loves cats, cat humor, cat art, cat embroidery, and all things cats. Buz plays with regional Irish band Sigean, and enjoys producing electronic music and music for podcasts. In addition to cats, Buz does also love his beagle Edna and his pit-weenie Aoife. He can be persuaded to hike, provided there are snacks, an epic view, and a meal following. Buz enjoys finding and sharing new musical experiences and spending time with Marcianne.
