Applications for the 2026 Steve Gulley Memorial Scholarship are now being accepted online, in honor of the late bluegrass singer and songwriter, and a cherished member of our WDVX family who passed away in 2020.

An annual award of $5,000 is given to a current or rising college student who represents the future of bluegrass music by the Bluegrass Music Endeavors Foundation, a philanthropic project by bluegrass band Crandall Creek.

Applications must be received by May 3, with the scholarship presented on stage at Nashville’s Station Inn as close as possible to the anniversary of Steve’s passing of August 18. This year it will be hosted during a Crandall Creek show there on August 13, 2026.

Outside donations are also accepted to the Steve Gulley Memorial Scholarship and can be made online.
