Dewveall is a native Texan, from the Houston area, but has called Nashville, TN home since 2008, and the American South has certainly given him a backdrop on which to build his musical philosophy. Patrick McCormic is a Franklin, Tennessee–based songwriter whose music blends the storytelling soul of Americana with an arsenal of styles ranging from southern gothic to traditional country to 90s alternative.

Born in Louisiana and raised across California and Alabama, Patrick’s cross‑country upbringing exposed him to a wide spectrum of musical traditions. Those early influences became the foundation of his writing: melody‑driven, heartfelt, and rooted in a strong sense of place. His songs often carry a nostalgic glow, pairing modern sensibilities with the timeless feel of the artists who first inspired him.

Patrick has been recognized as a “Writer to Watch” at the 2025 Muscle Shoals Songwriters Festival, and he is a Sunday Night Writer at The Bluebird Café.
