November 23 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Event Navigation

Troy Breslow is a Virginia-based singer-songwriter, celebrated for his honest lyrics, skillful guitar playing, and a deep-rooted rhythm that resonates long after the music ends. Over the past decade, he has steadily built a name for himself, earning accolades and the respect of his peers in the roots music scene.

In 2018, Troy was named Country Artist of the Year by the Veer Music Awards, and he was also nominated for Americana Artist of the Year by the Tennessee Music Awards, reflecting his growing impact in the Americana and country music genres. Troy’s blend of traditional country with his own unique storytelling style has earned him a reputation as an artist to watch. His 2022 album Pandemic Blues—an allegory of love and loss through the lens of global unrest—was nominated for EP of the Year by VEER.

Troy has shared stages with renowned musical contemporaries such as Chris Knight, Daniel Donato, and Don Flemons, solidifying his presence in the modern roots music landscape. His live performances have garnered widespread acclaim for their authenticity and emotional depth, with reviews praising him as a “shining storyteller” (Jeff Maisey, Veer Magazine) and a performer who “makes you sit up and take notice” (Mike Aiken, Grammy-nominated roots artist).

His festival appearances include headlining spots at events like the NOR-FOLK Festival, Aiken and Friends Festival, and the Charles County Fair, along with performances for the VA Association of Fairs. Media outlets have taken notice, with multiple features on WDVX’s Blue Plate Special, Out of the Box with Paul Shugrue, and numerous radio appearances on WBCM-LP and WHRO. His television presence includes over 20 live performances on various networks.

Whether playing intimate venues or major festivals, Troy’s performances remain grounded in the traditions of country music, while pushing the boundaries with his modern-day perspective.

Chris is originally from Beavercreek, Ohio (Near Dayton) and currently makes his home near Pensacola, Florida. He’s been in several bands during his musical journey but now is more focused in the singer/songwriter world.

To date, Chris and other co-writers have written more than 125 songs in multiple genre’s (Bluegrass, Country, Jazz & Gospel) with 10 of those becoming number 1 songs on the Bluegrass Today chart.

Most recently, Chris has been the Chief Operating Officer of the independent record label, RBR Entertainment. This opportunity enhanced his knowledge of the music business and the business of music. RBR Entertainment has 9 artists on it’s roster including Maria Droze, Tommy Buller, Ben James, Chris Davis, Don Rigsby, Jimmy Yeary, Billy Droze, Gary Nichols and Mike Sumner.

During his time at RBR Entertainment, Chris was responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Chris is also proud to acknowledge the release of “A RBR Family Christmas”. This bluegrass record has sounds of the season, recorded by each of the artists on the roster. The record received significant success with global radio due to the coordinated efforts of Chris, the artists and musicians, along with the executive staff at AirPlay Direct. The album achieved #34 on the All-Time Christmas/Holiday Global Radio Indicator Chart during its first year of release.

Chris has also been a regional coordinator for the Nashville Songwriter Association, International (NSAI). In this capacity, Chris could share his knowledge about songwriting with aspiring songwriters in the local area, participate in song reviews, and facilitate their growth in the business of songwriting.

While all of these experiences have given Chris great insight to the music business, the one thing that Chris has not done is release his music, his way. All that changed in late 2023, with the release of the debut Christmas single, “My Christmas List”. The full album, titled “All Over The Map”, is scheduled to be released in 2025.
