Holler & Crow is a whimsical folk band based in Asheville, NC. Bringing together traditional Celtic and Appalachian music, thoughtful originals and delightful modern covers, this is the heart of the jaunty, genre-bending sound they call “Crowified.” Formed in 2018 by Lark Frazier, they are uniquely femalefronted traditional project, that includes guitar, violin, viola, accordion, banjo, bouzouki, penny whistle, and stand up bass. Their debut album, Echoes came out September 2026 and was supported by ArtsAVL, Bank of America, and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. Whether in a crowded late-night pub, a festival with 20k+ in attendance, or over the internet, it is Holler & Crow’s absolute delight to adapt traditional music for non-traditional ears.
