The Gumption is an Austin, TX based outfit inspired by the sounds of Western Swing, Country, Bluegrass, Jazz, and Blues artists such as Bob Willis, Jerry Reed, Doc Watson, Chet Atkins, Waylon Jennings, Tex Williams, and more.

We bear songs of travel, heartache, money, community, and tales the indomitable human spirit.
The Gumption has configurations ranging from 1 to 5 members with hours of both original and cover material.

“At The Jukebox” is a three-piece, seasoned set of singer/songwriters from East Tennessee, on a mission to serve up memory lane walkin’, front porch foot stompin’, and Spirit filled cover and original songs to their audiences. They are known for their tight harmonies, harmonica accompaniment and energetic performances laced with a dash of humor and a down-home vibe. They perform 50+ shows a year at senior living residences, music venues, special events, house concerts and community functions.
