Another sure sign of spring is the April Record Store Day Celebration and Concert at Lost & Found Records, and this year’s musical lineup is filled with a variety of talented Knoxville bands.
From the highly anticipated debut of band Bad Hangup, to a reunion gig from Knoxville legends Smokin’ Dave & the Premo Dopes, hanging out around the Lost and Found Stage will be the place to be on RSD. Cheap Souvenirs just released their debut e.p., and is fronted by Dirty Guv’nah’s keyboardist Kevin Hyfantis. Knoxville Dub All-Stars brings the live reggae tunes led by uber-talented Drew Fisher. And Knoxville’s own Thursday night live honky tonk dance kings led by Russell Walker will keep the crowd dancing.
Lineup: Bad Hangup, Knoxville Dub All-Stars, Analog Kid, Russell Walker & Band, Cheap Souvenirs, and Smokin’ Dave & the Premo Dopes
Proceeds from this fundraiser event will be donated to WDVX. Funds are raised through donations for food, beverages, and WDVX merchandise. Lost and Found Records will also be opening their store earlier that morning for exclusive Record Store Day deals. This event brings members of the Knoxville community together to celebrate our local music scene and vinyl records, as well as to benefit a different non-profit each year.
