The non-profit Girl Institute, presentS the inaugural Women’s Equality Summit October 24th through 26th at World’s Fair Park. Thirteen panels and eighteen international speakers, featuring women having conversations for women, about women, and by women on leadership, health, the role of women in the media, child and elder care, women in song featuring WDVX’s very own Red Hickey, and much more. What if we created an event where we advanced Women’s Equality and all you have to do is show up? What if by showing up you helped create an environment where meeting other women, talking about yourself and your ideas was captured in such a way that our community and our lives would be enhanced? What if we then transcend our local space and connect to every woman on the planet and lay the foundation for her life and her community to be improved, also?

The GIRL Institute has curated a space for Women to be seen and heard. We’ve brought in over 20 nonprofits, our local businesses and speakers from around the world to share ideas and hear from you.
