Musician, artist, philanthropist, ordained minister, and honorary colonel Sam Quinn has called Knoxville home since 2007. His growing love for the radio was realized when he encountered East Tennessee’s own Katie Reed. He spent some time helping as a ghost presence on the Category Stomp, and was surprised when approached to do his own show.
He wanted to do a classic rock show with a deeper cut, and thus The New Show was born.
When Sam is not on-air, he enjoys tacos, building sand castles, wrangler wrancher pants, Tom Robbins, brussells sprouts, sad songs by dead people, the great American South, and long walks on the beach. His turn-offs include people who say “actually,” ice-cold drinks and capital letters.
