Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, from Chapel Hill, NC, visited the Blue Plate Special and showed us that real, raw country music is still alive and well. Described as “hard country”, “alt country”, and “outlaw country” the band has been getting rave reviews from their debut album “Sidelong”.
