Joe Williams /AKA The Appalachian Ragman will be sharing his musical rags on The Blue Plate Special, Feb 13^th at 12 noon. Joe is a singer songwriter and published author who was previously a member of the Home Grown Grass Band and The New Mountain Grass. While a member of these bands he opened shows for Doyle Lawson and Quick Silver, The Del McCoury Band, New Mountain Heart, Mac Wiseman, Ralph Stanley the 2^nd, Stella Parton and many others. Joe is from Jones Cove in Sevier County.
