SUMMARY:The WDVX Blue Plate Special - 6/5 - Ciara Fragale / Noah Smith
DESCRIPTION:Noah Smith is a touring songwriter from Cincinnati\, OH\, whose sound resonates with both country and rock n roll fans alike. Mixed with whiskey blues\, soulful roots\, and a road dog spirit\, his high energy full band live performances have landed him on national stages opening for artists such as Ashley Mcbryde\, Chris Janson\, Joe Diffie\, The Steve Miller Band\, and more. Noah splits his time between his home studio\, Nashville\, Tennessee\, and the road. He has gained a following in the US and Europe as a featured artist on the Nashville Nights International Songwriter Festival in Odense\, Denmark\, where he will return for a third appearance in 2025. Noah is a staple in the Cincinnati songwriter community\, and has fostered relationships with over 300 songwriters and artists on his monthly songwriter showcase “Noah Smith’s Crooner Circus\,” for over 5 years. Noah has a growing fan base and is releasing new music to pair with his past releases featured in American Songwriter\, Country Rebel\, Raised Rowdy and more. \n \nCiarra Fragale is an indie pop singer/songwriter\, producer\, and actor from NY’s Hudson Valley. By blending the nostalgic traditions of songwriting with unique new-wave sensibilities\, she creates a refreshing sound all her own. In addition to making her own music\, Ciarra has also composed many works for theater and film. \nIn 2017\, Ciarra released her first full-length “Seasons\,” written and recorded entirely in her home. It was during this recording process that she started to experiment with different sounds and textures\, igniting her love for production. After two more years of touring and recording\, Ciarra followed up “Seasons” with her second full-length “Call It What You Will” in 2019. Shedding the nu-folk sound for more of an Indie/alt pop direction\, “Call It What You Will” was an ambitious project that artfully portrayed Ciarra’s growth as an artist. Produced by Fragale\, the album was recorded at Nashphone Recording\, a studio owned and operated by engineer Jesse Bolduc (of the band Candy Ambulance )

SUMMARY:The WDVX Blue Plate Special - 6/7 - Brandon Maddox / Conner Brooke
DESCRIPTION:From sharing the stage with superstar\, Brett Eldredge\, as well as acclaimed performances in casinos\, clubs\, and festivals to having original songs featured in movies and appearing on TV and radio shows\, Brandon Maddox\, has quickly established himself as one of Country Music’s rising stars. He was named\, “Monster Truck Artist of the Year” and was both a Josie Award recipient in 2017 for his hit single “Dixie Chaser” as well as the winner of “Song of the Year” in 2019 for his song “Drive Me to Drink.” \nBrandon’s dad schooled him in classic rock\, so it was only natural that when the youngster picked up the guitar and taught himself to play\, he used a Beatle’s songbook. While teaching himself\, he noticed a common thread among the songs—the songs were written by actual members of The Beatles. Brandon wrote his first song at the tender age of 11 and now has an original catalog of over a thousand songs\, a few of which have won awards. After college Brandon moved to Nashville from his hometown near Chattanooga\, TN to pursue his songwriting passion. \nhttps://youtu.be/fM4SnucrOxQ?si=v7Ai4nhFPSjKQOQy \nConner Brooke will also join us this day! \nhttps://youtu.be/SBZjHjiYO5g?si=aO9vRXiFavOKuO1W

SUMMARY:WDVX Summer Nights - 6/11 - Jim Lauderdale & the Game Changers / Tidalwave Road
DESCRIPTION:Support for WDVX comes from Yee Haw Brewing Company on North Broadway in Knoxville and ORNL Federal Credit Union supporting WDVX Summer Nights… Live Music at Yee Haw. Jim Lauderdale and the Game Changers and Tidalwave Road will perform on June 11th. \nAt any given time\, you’re likely to find Jim Lauderdale making music\, whether he’s laying down a new track in the studio or working through a spontaneous melody at his home in Nashville. And if he’s not actively crafting new music\, he’s certainly thinking about it. “It’s a constant challenge to try to keep making better and better records\, write better and better songs. I still always feel like I’m a developing artist\,” he says. This may be a surprising sentiment from a man who’s won two Grammys\, released 34 full-length albums\, and taken home the Americana Music Association’s coveted Wagonmaster Award. But forthcoming album Game Changer is convincing evidence that the North Carolina native is only continuing to hone his craft. \nOperating under his own label\, Sky Crunch Records\, for the first time since 2016\, Lauderdale recorded Game Changer at the renowned Blackbird Studios in Nashville\, co-producing the release with Jay Weaver and pulling from songs he’d written over the last several years. “There’s a mixture on this record of uplifting songs and\, at the same time\, songs of heartbreak and despair—because that’s part of life as well\,” he says. “In the country song world especially\, that’s always been part of it. That’s real life.” \nLauderdale would know: He’s been a vital part of the country music ecosystem since 1991\, when he released his debut album and began penning songs for an impressively long roster of country music greats. “When I was a teenager wanting to be a bluegrass banjo player\, I never would have imagined that I would get to work with people like Ralph Stanley\, Robert Hunter\, Loretta Lynn\, George Jones\, Emmylou Harris\, Elvis Costello\, Lucinda Williams and John Oates \,” he muses. “Getting to work with them inspires me greatly to this day\, and I know it always will.” \,” he muses. “Getting to work with them inspires me greatly to this day\, and I know it always will.” \nFrom rollicking guitar riffs on “That Kind of Life (That Kind of Day)” to the slow\, sweet harmonies of “I’ll Keep My Heart Open For You\,” Game Changer shows off Lauderdale’s ingenuity as a singer\, songwriter\, and producer—while reestablishing him as one of Americana’s most steadfast champions. “Country music is constantly evolving\, but I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for steel guitar and a Telecaster\,” he says. “I have done my job on this record if people who love classic country feel like they can put it on\, or have it in their collection\, and it would fit right in.” \nRespecting the past doesn’t mean he’s not breaking new ground. “We’re All We’ve Got\,” a co-write with Mary Gauthier and Jaimee Harris\, offers a timely message about healing torn relationships at home and across the world. And “Friends Again\,” a grinning number about rekindling a friendship\, is fresh and forward-looking. At every turn\, Lauderdale’s collaborative spirit and genuine love for the creative process reveal themselves in thoughtful\, well-crafted songs sure to stand the test of time. “When everything works right\, it’s just magical to be able to hear them back\,” he says. “You feel\, at least for those three-and-a-half minutes\, like life makes sense.” \n \nTidalwave Road is made up of: \nBEN PARKER\nBanjo\, Vocals\nBenjamin Russell Parker grew up in Williamsburg and McKee\, Kentucky and still makes his home in Williamsburg today. \nBen started playing music at age 19\, being heavily influenced by Earl Scruggs\, Ralph Stanley and Dave Evans. As a multi-instrumentalist\, Ben plays Banjo\, Guitar and Fiddle. \nBefore Tidalwave Road was born\, he was a proud member of the ‘Colonel’ Larry Fuller Band. Fuller was a 40-year veteran musician and beloved Kentucky Colonel who was adored far and wide by his fans and sadly passed in 2007. \nAs a founding member of Tidalwave Road\, Ben Parker brings his unique Banjo and vocal stylings to the band along with his good humor. He is a professional Barber by day and is happily married to his lovely wife Trish\, with whom he has two children\, Cole and Landenn. \nBen also loves to kayak\, ride ATV’s\, and try to build fiddles. \nCARLIE PARKER\nMandolin\, Vocals\nCarlie Parker grew up on Tidal Wave Road in Rockholds\, Kentucky and still makes his home in Rockholds today.\nCarlie started playing music at age 8\, and credits his Grandparent and his Uncle Nick as his biggest influences. As a multi-instrumentalist\, Carlie plays Mandolin and Guitar.\nAs a founding member of Tidalwave Road\, and kin to Ben\, Carlie brings his special family blend of harmony to the band. He is a professional bus driver and mower by day and is happily married to his best friend\, with whom he has one son that he is currently teaching how to play music. \nDANIEL PARKER\nBass\nDaniel Parker grew up in Corbin\, Kentucky and still makes his home in Corbin today. \nDaniel started playing music later in life at age 31\, and enjoys a wide range of music from Metallica to John Prine. His favorite all-time Bluegrass artist is Tim O’Brien. Daniel is the backbone to the hard-driving Tidalwave sound with his rock solid bass skills. \nHe manufactures custom cutting tools by day and enjoys drawing and spending time with the love of his life and their poodle that sleeps between them every night. \nROBERT SULFRIDGE\nGuitar\nRobert Sulfridge grew up in Whitley County\, Kentucky and makes his home in Williamsburg\, Kentucky today.\nRobert started playing music at 6 years old\, and was heavily influenced by a diverse list of players including Tony Rice\, Wyatt Rice\, Cody Kilby\, Stevie Ray Vaughn\, Carlos Santana\, BB King and Mike Riddle. He is a multi-instrumentalist\, fluent in Guitar\, Mandolin and Piano. Robert is also the sound technician for the band\, their annual bluegrass festival\, and other events. His open mind and creative vision lend a hand in pushing the boundaries of traditional bluegrass for the band on song selection for recording and stage.\nBy day\, Robert is Vice President of Die Casting Company and also loves camping\, attending live music events\, ‘Mom & Pop’ coffee shops\, all with his wife and best friend\, Jessica. Robert and Jessica have two ‘fur-children\,’ Moose\, a Saint Bernard\, and Max\, a Bernese Mountain Dog. \n \n \n \n

SUMMARY:The WDVX Big Plate - 6/13 - Jay Clark & The Tennessee Tree Beavers
DESCRIPTION:Although Jay Clark went to college for 11.5 years and has a PhD in wildlife ecology\, he somehow ended up striking a balance between careers in music & science. Jay grew up in Winchester\, Tennessee\, near where the western escarpment of the Cumberland Plateau crosses from Tennessee into Alabama. His dad was a Cumberland Presbyterian minister for 42 years. His mom an English teacher. Church played a huge roll in Jay’s upbringing. It was in the church where Jay learned to sing & in the mountains where he felt closest to God. Jay wrote his first song in 1990. He didn’t know how to play guitar\, so he taught himself to play in order to put music to his first song. That song was the first of many. \nJay has been a staple in the East Tennessee music scene for more than 20 years. During his college years\, Jay not only trapped & conducted research on black bears in the Smokies\, but also played in a couple of different bluegrass bands\, most notably a brother-style duo with Keith Garrett (currently of The Boxcars) and later in a bluegrass band\, The Stringbeans\, with Robinella and Cruz Contreras (currently of The Black Lillies). Since releasing his first record in 2004 (Pen to Paper)\, Jay has supplemented his career as a scientist with performing his songs across the Southeast & southern Appalachia. Presently\, Jay plays a number of his shows with his band\, Jay Clark & the Tennessee Tree Beavers\, which features Greg Horne on lead guitar & Daniel Kimbro on upright bass. Jay recently released his fifth recording\, Of Mountains & Heartbreak (2016). He still uses the other side of his brain as an adjunct professor in the Biology Department at Maryville College. Jay resides in the foothills of the Smokies on 31.5 acres in Rockford\, TN\, with his wife\, Stacy\, and their pack of rescue hounds.

SUMMARY:The WDVX Blue Plate Special - 6/14 - Trey Bryant / Kirsty Lee Akers & Rhinestoned
DESCRIPTION:Hailing from Williamsburg\, KY\, Trey Bryant is a country music artist with roots that run deep in the hills of Appalachia. His songwriting is full of rich imagery that makes listeners feel the emotions behind the lyrics. \nTrey continues to bring an unforgettable live show to coveted stages across the southeast and has provided opening performances rising stars Dillon Carmichael and Walker Montgomery as well as for country stars such as Phil Vassar and Sawyer Brown. \nTrey’s accolades include 3 nominations for the 2025 Lexington Music Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year\, Country Artist of the Year\, and Song of the Year for his single\, “Make It To Nashville” and a nomination for the 2025 Josie Music Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year – Country. \n \nKirsty Lee Akers is one of Australia’s most unique and authentic recording artists. A rare talent who is proud of her First Nations heritage\, she is a Wonnarua woman (Hunter Valley – Australia). Akers has embraced a global musical culture and now spends her time between Australia and a hard-earned international touring schedule in North America and Europe. Although she spends time overseas during the year\, Australia will always be her spiritual home. “Music and family have always been the most important parts of my life. My Nan\, Mum\, and Aunt were all singers\, and I grew up with my pop playing country music all the time. I still remember my first performance at age three. I was hooked!” – Kirsty Lee Akers \nKirsty’s childhood was far from easy\, and her family could be described as “Aussie Battlers”. Born when her mother was only 17 years old\, she quickly learned the importance of teamwork\, love\, and family connection. Akers was not born into money\, one of four children growing up in a small house\, she saw her father work two jobs to get by. Kirsty learned early on that if she wanted something\, she was going to have to earn it. These are traits that to this day are extremely important to her and help her connect with her fans on an honest and personal level. Akers performed in public for the first time at the tender age of three years old and recorded her first EP at the age of 15. She funded that recording with the money she made busking tirelessly on the streets of Tamworth each January. This connection with Australia’s Country Music Capital lead Kirsty to graduate from the CMAA Academy of Country Music and then further afield through the Talent Development Project. After these achievements\, it was time to spread her wings and explore the world – First stop Nashville. “That trip to Nashville in 2006 was just like my first trip to Tamworth\, and from the time I stepped off the plane I was in love! There is just something magical about that city. Music everywhere\, dreams everywhere\, it is so inspiring. But as much as I love traveling\, Australia always calls me home.” – Kirsty Lee Akers \n \n

SUMMARY:The WDVX Big Plate - 6/20 - Redd & The Paper Flowers
DESCRIPTION:Redd & The Paper Flowers is an Appalachian Folk / Livingroom Folk band from Knoxville\, Tennessee with members Katie Adams (upright bass)\, Colleen d’Alelio (cello)\, Gavin Gregg (mandolin)\, and Redd Daugherty (guitar). \nThe band met in 2022 through a local open mic and mutual friends\, and they just released their debut album\, Appalachian Bell Jar\, a record that is a testament to East Tennessee and greater Appalachia’s beauty\, struggles with government support\, and their experiences in the area. \nThe band has grown extremely close over the past three years\, particularly in touring: In 2025 alone\, they’re on the road for 22 weeks out of the year. The band also grew through the tragedy of Redd Daugherty losing her dear friend\, Jason Cooper\, who owned a local Knoxville music store named Rush’s Music\, which has been a staple of the Knoxville music community since 1958. From Coop’s tragic death\, Redd found out he willed her the business\, his estate\, and his dog\, Ando\, who passed in April 2024. Redd owns\, operates\, and works at Rush’s alongside Katie and Gavin during their off time from touring\, which services over 90 schools. \nTheir second album\, Dead Little Thing\, will highlight the struggles from this experience and is set to release January 2026. \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUvbqOeWLrk

For over a decade he’s made a life in music\, sharing the stage with artists like John Legend\, Brandi Carlile\, Grace Potter\, Heart\, Gavin DeGraw\, Chris Isaak\, and the Goo Goo Dolls. \nWith a soulful voice that has been described as “a smoke and whiskey tenor with plenty of range and emotion”\, Baker’s music draws influence from classic singer-songwriters like James Taylor\, Tom Petty\, and Van Morrison and stands shoulder to shoulder with contemporary songwriters like Jason Isbell\, Chris Stapleton\, Ray Lamontagne\, and Amos Lee. \nErick is thrilled to announce the re-release of “She Dreams of Boston\,” a song he co-wrote with bestselling author Colleen Hoover\, inspired by her novel “It Ends With Us\,” now adapted into a major motion picture. This is one of the most important songs Erick has ever written because it’s more than just a song – “She Dreams of Boston” is Lily’s song\, written specifically to give a voice and melody to her struggle\, resilience\, and ultimately\, her hope. Collaborating with Colleen to bring Lily’s story to life through music has been an incredible honor\, and Erick hopes this song not only raises awareness about the cycle of domestic abuse but also offers comfort and courage to those who need it most. Now streaming everywhere. \nIn addition to his life in music\, Erick is also a children’s book author. Released in 2021\, Erick’s first children’s book\, “Willie the Weed\,” is a contagiously optimistic tale filled with vivid illustrations and a heartwarming story that inspires children to embrace and celebrate their uniqueness. Rooted in the belief that we are all born to reach for the sun and that “WE ALL BELONG”\, Willie’s story of resilience sets a great example of how to overcome adversity and reminds young readers (and grown-up readers too) that when we plant a little kindness a lot of beautiful things can grow. \nWhen he’s not on tour\, Erick lives in Knoxville with his wife\, Mandy\, his daughter\, Annabelle Rose\, and their Goldendoodle\, Sunny Day. Visit him at www.erickbaker.com or follow him on Instagram (@erickbakermusic)\, Facebook (@erickbakermusic)\, and TikTok (@erickbakermusic) to stay in touch. \n \nThe Young Fables (TYF) create music with classic storytelling weaved into Country music with pop sensibilities. East Tennessee (Maryville) natives\, Laurel Wright and Wes Lunsford are influenced by timeless treasures like Patsy Cline\, Bonnie Raitt\, Glen Campbell and Chet Atkins. The duo’s unique sound has resonated with audiences around the globe as live performances have become stages from which The Young Fables discuss themes and topics typically saved for the therapy couch. Strong advocates for mental health awareness\, The Young Fables are focused on helping to erase the stigmas surrounding the topic. Recognizing the duo’s advocacy\, the pair were honored with The Troy Gentry Compassion Award in 2021 for compassion\, commitment\, kindness and love. \nTheir whimsical yet unmistakable blend of Country and Pop has garnered praise from industry icons and tastemakers. Nine-time GRAMMY® Award winner Sheryl Crow once tweeted\, “Laurel’s as good as any country singer out there!” Their releases have earned them recognition\, including a spot on Rolling Stone’s “10 Best Country and Americana Songs of the Week.” They have also had the privilege of supporting artists such as Vince Gill\, Amy Grant\, and Rascal Flatts\, as well as being invited by multi-platinum songstress Shania Twain to participate in the CBS showcase celebration Real Country. Twain praised\, “Wes is a perfect partner for Laurel’s voice. I fell in love with these guys as genuine\, authentic talents.” Travis Tritt added\, “Our industry needs (TYF) right now!” In September of 2023\, the duo was honored as BMI & Texas Roadhouse’s Artists of the Month\, resulting in their music videos being showcased in locations across the United States. \nThe Young Fables continue to grow their team recently inking a publishing deal with BMG. In October 2024\, Wright and Lunsford will unveil their fourth studio album\, Short Stories\, alongside their feature documentary ‘The Fable of a Song’\, which clinched the Nashville Film Festival Audience Choice Award. “Each album we release serves as a journal entry for us\, and Short Stories represents the next chapter\,” Wright explains. “We feel fortunate to have a platform to share our music and are grateful that our story resonates with others\, aiding in their healing. That’s a reward unlike any other.”

SUMMARY:The WDVX Blue Plate Special - 6/25 - Robinella
DESCRIPTION:Robinella’s career began with a sort of luck that rarely comes to most artists within their lifetime. What started out as a simple husband-and-wife duo fresh out of college quickly grew to a full-fledged band that blended Bluegrass\, Country and Jazz. The combination of Robinella’s honey-sweet vocals with violin\, mandolin\, bass\, drums and piano captivated audiences\, thus creating the ever popular Robinella & the CC Stringband. \nThey released their first album\, self-titled Robinella and The CC Stringband\, in 2000\, which quickly followed\, No Saint\, No Prize in 2001. Both were on the independent label Big Gulley Records. With a few simple twists of fate\, what followed was a whirlwind of rapid success – Columbia Records liked what they heard and signed Robinella in 2002. The label took seven songs from the band’s two prior albums and released them as the CD Blanket for My Soul and then released a full album in 2003\, Robinella and the CC Stringband. This led to a national tour including opening for such artists as Bob Dylan\, Willie Nelson\, Earl Scruggs\, Nickel Creek\, Robert Earl Keen\, Kasey Chambers\, Del McCoury and Rodney Crowell as well as an appearance on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and a music video on CMT for their hit single\, “Man Over”. She also performed on NPR’s “Mountain Stage\,” appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and performed on PBS’s “SoundStage.” In 2006\, Robinella was nominated for “Emerging Artist of the Year” at the Americana Music Awards and released her fourth album\, “Solace for the Lonely”\, on Dualtone Records in Nashville. \nBut then life\, as it has a tendency to do\, threw a few curveballs her way. She became a mom and a couple of years later\, she and her husband/musical partner split up with a new record almost completed. Exhausted and somewhat disillusioned with the industry and its promises\, it was time to regroup\, redefine and get back to her roots. So she returned to her home\, the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains\, and got back in touch with what she truly wanted – love\, family\, friendship\, music\, art\, truth. \nWith that comes her latest release\, “Fly Away Bird”\, her most mature work. However\, within the melancholy and touches of sadness there is not true despair. For such a voice — that dazzling\, warm\, bright-as-summer-sunshine soprano — to even communicate it would most likely defy certain laws of emotional physics. No\, instead\, this album\, beneath the disappointments\, she is brimming with optimism — with hope. You can feel it\, and even more important than that\, you believe — because she believes\, and because her music is so honest and so genuine and so forthright that you just can’t help but knowing that this is an artist who still finds life to be magical. \nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVY6pjpvFuk

SUMMARY:The WDVX Blue Plate Special - 6/28 - Evie Andrus / The Bourbon Man
DESCRIPTION:Evie Andrus has spent most of her adult life adding tasty licks to other people’s projects\, adding just the right ingredient to make a piece of music sound its best. With the release of her first album under her own name\, “Evie’s Great Adventure\,” the fiddler/vocalist ready to deliver the main course. \nThe new album is flat-out feel-good music delivered with the same heart and soul that’s made Evie a popular performed all across the Southeast. \nMaybe you caught her bands Barefoot Sanctuary or Buffalo Fiasco\, or heard her backing up renowned cellist Dave Eggar\, irreverent singer-songwriter Roger Alan Wade\, or performing at the Big Ears Festival with improvisational great Lonnie Holley\, or maybe you spotted her backing up Foreigner on a short tour. There’s also the possibility that you heard her music on the HBO series “The Outsider” or saw her appearance on “American Ninja Warrior.” \nBorn in Fargo\, N.D. and raised in Minot\, N.D.\, Evie began playing fiddle at six years old in her father’s band Crossroads\, but she was already a stage veteran. She first performed on stage at the age of 3\, blowing a train whistle\, on one of her father’s songs. \nWhen Evie was in the 4th grade\, her father started a family band called Family Ties\, which included her father on banjo and her brother Joe on bass. Mom ran sound for the group. \n“Our thing was to wear funny ties\,” says Evie. “My favorite was a rubber Swiss cheese tie … In the summer\, we were out and about. We played a lot around North Dakota\, South Dakota\, Minnesota and Canada\, Good Sam conventions and re-enactments\, fur trade re-enactments.” \nWho even knew there were “fur trade” re-enactments? \nAll through high school\, Evie performed in bluegrass bands and her high school orchestra\, but she didn’t have a lot in common with her classmates. \n“I grew up in a very bluegrass-centric family\,” she says. “Plus\, we had no TV. My entertainment was listening to (vintage radio shows) ‘Sherlock Holmes\,’ ‘Dragnet’ and ‘Inner Sanctum.’” \nEvie later attended North Dakota State University\, majoring in athletic training\, and playing in a group called Ironwood and\, later\, Sisters of the North on the side. It was an encounter with East Tennessee bluegrass act Blue Moon Rising that made Evie decide to move to East Tennessee. She moved to Johnson City\, Tenn.\, and landed a scholarship in the East Tennessee State University bluegrass program. \n“My first fiddle teacher there was (former Bluegrass Boys’ fiddler) Tater Tate\,” says Evie. “I couldn’t believe I was getting a scholarship to take lessons from Tater Tate!” \nWhile in Johnson City she worked at the Acoustic Coffee House\, working as a server and making music. She was a regular at late-night jam sessions and later became a favorite player to accompany singer-songwriters. \n“It was a different approach to music than what I had done before\,” says Evie. “It was kind of freeing in a way.” \nAfter a graduation\, Evie returned to North Dakota for few years before taking a music job in with the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge\, Tenn. \nAfter a year and a half of dinner shows\, Evie leaned into teaching and playing with a variety of bands and musicians and then founded Barefoot Sanctuary\, which later became Buffalo Fiasco. A gig with Lonnie Holley at the Big Ears Festival led to Evie getting a call from HBO to be part of the limited series “The Outsider.” \n“The scene at the festival with the fiddle tunes\, that’s me!” says Evie. “I’m blurry in the background\, but it was really awesome.” \nAs a side person\, Evie says she’s always known where she fits. \n“I call myself a Jell-O player\,” says Evie. “There’s always room for Jell-O. It fills in all the cracks.” \nWith the release of “Evie’s Great Adventure\,” though\, she knows where she fits as well. \n“I’m really excited to get my true musical voice out more\,” says Evie. “In an odd way\, it took the pandemic to make me take time to find my voice. Now I want to share my love of music and adventure. It’s not earth shattering. It’s something people can put on and just have a great afternoon.” \n \nThe Bourbon Man is a one man band from Belarus. Rised from the ash of WhiskeyJamBand The Bourbon Man plays his dirthy blues on cigar box guitar and bass drum\, screaming vocals and other strange stuff.
