SUMMARY:Wednesday — Mill & Mine — 3/13
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets Here! \nCan a self-portrait be a collage? Can empathy be autobiographical? What’s the point of living if we’re not trying to understand all the horror and humor that surrounds everything? These are a few of the questions lurking under the bleachers of Wednesday’s new album Bleeds\, an intoxicating collection of narrative-heavy Southern rock that—like many of the most arresting passages from the North Carolina band’s highlight reel so far—thoughtfully explores the vivid link between curiosity and confession. \nBleeds is not only the best Wednesday record—it’s also the most Wednesday record\, a patchwork-style triumph of literary allusions and outlaw grit\, of place-based poetry and hair-raising noise. Karly Hartzman—founder\, frontwoman\, and primary lyricist—credits Wednesday’s tightened grasp on their own identity to time spent collaborating on previous albums\, plus a tour schedule that’s been both rewarding and relentless. “Bleeds is the spiritual successor to Rat Saw God\, and I think the quintessential ‘Wednesday Creek Rock’ album\,” Hartzman said\, articulating satisfaction with the ways her band has sharpened its trademark sound\, how they’ve refined the formula that makes them one of the most interesting rock bands of their generation. “This is what Wednesday songs are supposed to sound like\,” she said. “We’ve devoted a lot of our lives to figuring this out—and I feel like we did.”

SUMMARY:The Blue Plate Special – 3/12 – Hunter Gatherer & Austin Skalecki / Jennifer Alvarado
DESCRIPTION:Hunter Gatherer is “a musical nomad\, unable to rest his head on one genre\, crossing borderlines between sunny americana\, grassy indie-folk and alt-country.” Joined by troubadour and fellow songwriter Austin Skalecki\, they have over 6 albums to their name\, and accompany one another\, sharing both the spotlight and sideman duties. They’re storytellers and gifted pickers in our own rite\, and also back each other on steel guitar and mandolin. \n  \nJennifer Alvarado is redefining what it means to be a country artist in today’s music scene. With a sound that fuses the heartfelt storytelling of 90s country with the raw\, unfiltered honesty of alternative rock\, her music has been described as “Deana Carter meets Alanis Morissette.” But Jennifer isn’t just another artist blending genres—she’s a truth-teller\, a fighter\, and a voice for those who have ever felt out of place. Her songs are unflinchingly personal\, yet universally relatable\, tackling love\, loss\, trauma\, and redemption with a fearless honesty that sets her apart. \nBorn and raised in Hickory\, North Carolina\, Alvarado’s love for music was sparked at the age of four when her grandfather first placed a guitar in her hands. Growing up\, she found her voice singing in church and school performances\, but a devastating loss and relentless bullying in middle school silenced her for years. While others saw her talent\, she struggled with crippling performance anxiety\, choosing instead to write in secret. It wasn’t until her mid-teens\, when she picked up the guitar again and began leading worship\, that she slowly reclaimed her confidence. \nAlvarado’s path to music wasn’t a straight shot. Despite earning a music scholarship\, she ultimately pursued a degree in Political Science and Family Ministries\, preparing for a future in law and ministry. She worked as an Intellectual Property Paralegal\, led worship at two churches\, and taught guitar and ukulele on the side. But music never stopped calling. In 2020\, facing a crossroads\, she decided to take a chance — submitting her music to Indie Star Radio. The response was immediate and overwhelming\, leading to her being named Country Artist of the Year in 2021. From that moment\, there was no turning back. \nSince then\, Jennifer has become one of the most relentless independent artists in country music\, performing over 200 shows a year across the country. She’s played legendary venues like The Viper Room\, intimate clubs on the California coast\, and countless stages across NC\, TN\, GA\, VA\, SC\, CT\, KY\, and TX. Her goal? To play all 50 states and bring her music to international audiences. While she’s been told she’s “not redneck enough” for country music and “too old” to chase a dream\, she refuses to let the industry define her. Instead\, she writes and sings on her own terms\, creating music that resonates with those searching for something deeper than another whiskey-soaked party anthem. \nBeyond the music\, Jennifer is deeply passionate about using her platform to make a difference. She is actively involved in Celebrate Recovery\, prison ministry\, and organizations supporting women overcoming addiction and homelessness. She volunteers at various local recovery based ministries in North Carolina\, Tennessee Oncology in Nashville\, and Meals on Wheels.  Jennifer Alvarado is more than a musician — she is a storyteller\, an advocate\, and proof that resilience and faith can carve out a space where none seemed to exist. She isn’t chasing fame or fortune. She’s chasing meaning\, moments\, and the chance to remind others that their voice\, their dreams\, and their stories matter.

SUMMARY:Darrell Scott & Will Hoge — Live at the Bijou — 3/7
DESCRIPTION:Get tickets here! \nAbout Darrell Scott: \nMulti-Instrumentalist and Singer-Songwriter Darrell Scott mines and cultivates the everyday moment\, taking the rote\, menial\, mundane\, and allowing it to be surreal\, ever poignant\, and candidly honest\, lilting\, blooming\, and resonating. The words he fosters allow us to make sense of the world\, what is at stake here\, and our place in it. And ultimately\, Darrell knows the sole truth of life is that love is all that matters\, that we don’t always get it right\, but that’s the instinctive and requisite circuitous allure of things\, why we forever chase it\, and why it is held sacred. \nDarrell Scott comes from a musical family with a father who had him smitten with guitars by the age of 4\, alongside a brother who played Jerry Reed style as well. From there\, things only ramped up with literature and poetry endeavors while a student at Tufts University\, along with playing his way through life. This would never change. \nAfter recently touring with Robert Plant and the Zac Brown Band (2 years with each)\, and producing albums for Malcolm Holcomb and Guy Clark and being named “songwriter of the year” for both ASCAP and NSAI\, these days find him roaming his Tennessee wilderness acreage hiking along the small river\, creating delicious meals with food raised on his property and playing music. He often leads songwriting workshops to help people tell their own truths with their stories\, and is as busy as always writing\, producing\, performing\, and just plain fully immersing himself in life. \nCareer Highlights: \nGrammy Nomination for Best Country Song – “Long Time Gone” Dixie Chicks 2003Grammy Nomination for Best Country Instrumental Performance – “The Second Mouse” 2001Americana 2007 Song of the Year – “Hank Williams’ Ghost”Rolling Stone Magazine listed Theatre of the Unheard as one of the 2003 Critics Top AlbumsASCAP Songwriter of the Year 2002NSAI Songwriter of the Year 2001 \nSongs recorded by over 70 artists including: Dixie Chicks\, Keb Mo\, Faith Hill\, Guy Clark\, Sam Bush\, Maura O’Connell\, Kathy Mattea\, Brad Paisley\, Sara Evans\, Garth Brooks\, Patty Loveless\, Trace Adkins\, Tim McGraw … \nRecorded With: Steve Earle\, Kate Rusby\, Joan Baez\, Jim Lauderdale\, Jimmie Dale Gilmore\, Jon Pousette-Dart\, Ginny Hawker\, Malcolm Holcombe\, John McCusker\, Allison Moorer\, Jessie Alexander\, Randy Travis… \nProduction: Guy Clark\, Susan Werner\, Wayne Scott \nAbout Will Hoge: \nWill Hoge will release Sweet Misery\, the Grammy-nominated artist’s 15th studio album on Friday\, August 22. On Sweet Misery\, Hoge reminds listeners that he isn’t afraid to break new ground – all while giving a keen nod to his rock and roll roots with the kind of grace and purpose that only comes with experience – without the baggage of predictability. In Will’s own words – “Following the re-recording and re-releases of Carousel and Blackbird On A Lonely Wire I found myself really wanting to make a louder\, hooky\, rock-n-roll band record again. Good stories\, big choruses\, shit to make you play it loud and drive fast with the windows down. I was without a band so I enlisted a crew of folks who I love – folks that I believed could really help bring out the bigger ideas in the songs. I hope folks will find some headphones and give it a good\, loud listen. Top to bottom\, the way albums should be listened to.” \nWill Hoge has a career whose milestones include Number One hits\, Grammy nods\, major-label record deals\, and hard-won independence. Years before Americana music received its own category at the Grammy Awards\, Hoge was on the frontlines\, helping to pilot and popularize the genre’s blend of American roots music. In the current digital era dominated by influencers seeking shortcuts to stardom\, Will Hoge proudly treads the scenic route\, immersing himself in the journey rather than fixating on the destination.

SUMMARY:The Blue Plate Special – 3/5 – Cody Landress-Gibson / Will Wesley
DESCRIPTION:Cody Landress-Gibson will be performing! \nWill Wesley is a Country Rock and Americana artist. A storyteller whose sound blends a soulful edge with country rock energy into heartfelt storytelling. Born in Baker\, Louisiana\, Wesley was raised with a rebellious spirit and a love for music inspired by his father’s guitar. By age 15\, he was sneaking into bars to perform with a beat-up six-string and a fire that would soon define his music career. \nHe paved his path in the Baton Rouge blues scene\, performing and touring alongside with legendary figures. He served as Grady Champion’s Music Director for five years. His talent earned him two International Blues Challenge regional victories and a reputation as one of Louisiana’s fiercest young guitarists. \nBut Wesley’s journey took a turn when life’s hardships — including personal battles and deep loss — pushed him toward a new musical path. Drawing inspiration from artists like Hank Williams\, Marty Stuart\, Garth Brooks\, Jason Aldean\, and Eric Church\, he began merging his blues background with the modern energy of country rock and Americana. \nIn 2021\, Wesley released his breakthrough album\, “Both Sides Of The Tracks.” The record featured 17 original songs\, including “A New Kind of Blues” (feat. Kern Pratt)\, “Leah” (feat. Michael Cleveland)\, and “Attitude”\, which reached #1 on the Euro Academy of Country Music Charts in Milan\, Italy. The project marked his official crossover from blues prodigy to full-fledged country-rock and Americana artist. \nTragedy struck in January 2021\, when Wesley lost his brother Daniel Dale to a drug overdose — a loss that became the emotional core of his 2024 single “12 O’Clock in Texas\,” his most personal song to date. The single’s heartfelt storytelling and raw emotion struck a deep chord with fans around the world. \nWesley followed with “The Search” (2024) and his latest single\, “Bottom Of The Bottle” (October 2025) — a powerhouse track with a harder rock edge that’s rapidly gaining momentum and airplay. \nToday\, Wesley tours across the U.S.\, Europe\, and Southeast Asia\, performing everywhere from intimate listening rooms to international stages\, including the Switzerland International Country Music Hall of Fame and the Jackson\, Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. \nHe shared stages with many including Alabama\, RVSHVD\, Jason Boland & the Stragglers\, Redd Volkaert\, When In Rome\, Old Crow Medicine Show\, Scotty McCreery\, Hailey Whitters\, and shared international stages with Swiss Rockabilly Star – Florian Fox\, collaborating on Will’s singles\, “Wasted Again” and “Time’s Catching Up To Me.” \nIn recognition of his accomplishments\, he received seven nominations for his song\, “Ready To Ride” at the 2024 Josie Music Awards. In addition\, he received five nominations for his songs “12 O’Clock in Texas” and “The Search” at the 2025 Josie Music Awards. Both within Nashville\, Tennessee. \nDespite the road miles as a devoted Worldwide Touring Troubadour\, Wesley returns home to Louisiana in-between tours for hometown shows\, staying true to his roots and fans. Known for his humility and heart\, he continues to give back by performing at Veterans’ events and outreach programs — bringing the healing power of music to those who need it most. \n

SUMMARY:The Lone Bellow — Live at the Bijou — 2/26
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets Here! \nWith their upcoming sixth studio album\, “What A Time To Be Alive\,”  The Lone Bellow embarks on a bold new chapter while honoring the deep bonds that have defined their journey. Written collaboratively for the first time with their full touring band—founding members Zach Williams\, Brian Elmquist\, and Kanene Pipkin joined by drummer Julian Dorio and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Geertsma—the album channels the raw\, ecstatic energy of the band’s live show into a dynamic collection of songs that pulse with warmth\, honesty\, and human connection. \nRecorded live in Muscle Shoals\, AL\, after a writing retreat in a converted Kentucky firehouse\, the album is both a celebration and a reckoning: of friendship\, loss\, love\, and resilience. From the gritty\, Stones-tinged opener “After The Rain” to the soul-stirring closer “What A Time To Be Alive\,” the record captures the joy and vulnerability that have long defined The Lone Bellow’s sound—lush harmonies\, heartfelt lyrics\, and genre-blurring arrangements steeped in folk\, rock\, and gospel. \nThe album’s creation was marked by setbacks\, including the theft of early recordings\, but the outpouring of support from their fanbase reaffirmed what the band has always known: their music is a shared experience. That spirit echoes throughout the album\, whether in anthems like“Common Folk” and “I’m Here For You\,” or in intimate reflections like “You Were Leaving” and “Night Goes Black.” \nSince their acclaimed 2013 debut\, The Lone Bellow has appeared on The Tonight Show\, Austin City Limits\, and The Late Show\, topped Americana charts\, and headlined storied venues from Carnegie Hall to the Ryman Auditorium. But with their next album\, they reaffirm their commitment not just to making music\, but to building community—on stage\, in song\, and around the table. \nAbout Fabrizio (opening act): \nBorn in the highlands of Huánuco\, Peru\, he set out on his own and landed in the foothills of Georgia at the age of 15 to fend for himself. Fabrizio brings a truly unique voice and perspective to the Americana and country music scene. With a deep\, powerfulbaritone that can shake the walls and stir the soul\, Fabrizio fuses the raw emotion of traditional country with the storytelling spirit of his journey. Now based in Nashville\, TN at 23\, Fabrizio continues to carve out a space in the Southern music scene\, captivating audiences with his commanding voice. He’s not just a singer\, he’s a storyteller with a voice that doesn’t just sing the song\, he lives it.

SUMMARY:The WDVX Big Plate – 2/20 – The Garrett Boys
DESCRIPTION:Every family has its own unique history\, a timeline fleshed out by memorable characters\, milestone events\, and the stories passed on through the decades that bind it all together. For the Garrett Boys\, a family trio from Overton County in east Tennessee\, their history just happens to lend itself to some excellent Appalachian folk music. \nMade up of brothers Stephen and Russell Garrett\, and Stephen’s son Carter\, the Garrett Boys are rooted\, both musically and physically\, in 500 hilly\, wooded acres that have had a magnetic pull over their family for generations. The men refer to it simply as “The Land\,” and it’s the setting for nearly every one of the 11 songs on It Runs Deep\, the trio’s debut album. \n“About 200 years ago\, some Garrett boys came from North Carolina and settled in that area\,” says Stephen\, who plays acoustic guitar and sings lead in the band. “Some old records say that they acquired land between Mill Creek and Mitchell Creek\, and that’s the property that Russell and I grew up on. Carter will be the ninth generation to live on it.” \nBut while the land is specific to the Garrett Boys\, the album the group wrote about it is universal. Produced by Ray Kennedy (Steve Earle\, Lucinda Williams)\, It Runs Deep contains elements of bluegrass\, folk\, and country\, but refuses to play it safe. It nods to their varied influences\, from Steve Earle and Rodney Crowell to Chris Knight and Hank Williams Jr. \nWith It Runs Deep\, the Garrett Boys memorialize those family stories — for themselves\, for their descendants\, and now for fans of classic American folk music. \n“Our music is about the importance and depth of family and community\,” Stephen says. “It’s a mix of what we have been versus what we can become\, and how we can take the good from all that and build a future.”

Fans describe his songs as “emotional support music\,” “heart and soul food\,” and even “baby-makin’ music.” Or\, as one listener summed it up best: “You don’t just listen to his music\, you feel it.”

SUMMARY:Live From the Bijou - 1/17 - Cosmic Charlie
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS & INFO! \nCosmic Charlie was born in the musical Mecca of Athens\, Georgia. From its summer 1999 inception\, the band swiftly cemented its reputation as a band that puts a unique and personal twist on the Grateful Dead catalogue. Cosmic Charlie is a Dead cover band for folks that are ambivalent about Dead cover bands. \nRather than mimicking the Dead exactly\, Cosmic Charlie chooses to tap into the Dead’s energy and style as a foundation on which to build. The result is healthy balance of creativity and tradition\, where both the band and its audience are taken to that familiar edge with the sense that\, music is actually being MADE here tonight. \nMoving and shaking even the most skeptical of Deadheads\, Cosmic Charlie storms into a town and plays with an energy that eludes other bands\, an energy that sometimes eluded the Dead themselves. Those precious moments during Dead jams when the synchronicity is there and all is right with the world – these are the moments that Cosmic Charlie relishes and feverishly welcomes with open arms. Clearly\, Cosmic Charlie’s audiences are also eager to partake in these moments\, and together with the band\, they have indulged in many memorable evenings. \nMost nights\, Cosmic Charlie walks onstage without a setlist\, not even knowing what the first song will be. Any Dead tune can rear its head at any moment\, and fan requests are always welcome. “INSPIRATON\, MOVE ME BRIGHTLY” is Cosmic Charlie’s mantra\, allowing the music to truly play the band.

SUMMARY:The WDVX Big Plate – 1/16 – Amelia Day
DESCRIPTION:Amelia Day is a musical jack-of-all-trades. Standing at the intersection of folk\, rock\, and pop\, Day blends heartfelt storytelling\, raw delivery\, and unforgettable melodies into music that feels both fresh and familiar — like rediscovering an old favorite. A self-described writer before anything else\, her perceptive lyricism extends far beyond her 23 years\, with lines reminiscent of songwriting greats like Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon. As the Spokesman-Review notes\, Day has a signature style that features “wordplay\, double-meanings and rhythmic variations\,” with themes ranging from journeying into adulthood to climate change. Many of Day’s songs are also shaped by her intimate relationships\, where her queerness and candor take center stage. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay is proficient on guitar\, keys\, bass\, and drums\, often switching between instruments during her live performances. At other times\, she lets the music take over — stepping away from the instruments to simply sing and dance with mic in hand. She says she aims to “create an environment of complete presence and joy\, but also healthy catharsis of all the worst emotions.” As the Vanderbilt Hustler highlights\, her set is “energetic\, emotional and full of fun\, just like all of her music.” Fans often leave Day’s shows on a high\, blown away by her powerhouse vocals (drawing comparisons to Brandi Carlile\, Norah Jones\, Alanis Morissette\, and others)\, and charmed by the joy she exudes while onstage. \nAlready boasting over a million streams on a number of songs\, Amelia Day continues to prove herself as both a songwriter and performer\, emerging as a voice destined to resonate for years to come.

SUMMARY:Live at the Bijou - 1/15 - Dan Tyminski
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS & INFO! \nDan Tyminski was six years old when his parents began taking him to fiddle contests\, square dances\, and bluegrass festivals across New England. For a young musician who would later become one of the biggest names in modern-day bluegrass\, those early experiences were life changing. \n“Watching live music always spoke to me much louder than sitting in front of my record player\,” he remembers. “I loved it. Wherever music was being played\, I wanted to go watch. Years later\, I still feel that way.” \nThroughout his 30+ year career\, Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern music. His voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley Brothers’ classic song\, “I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow\,” in the film\, Oh Brother\, Where Art Thou? and his vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey Brother” was a global smash\, having been streamed more than a billion times to date. His diverse solo projects and years of work with Alison Krauss and Union Station have yielded troves of award-winning music. \nIn recent years\, Tyminski’s live shows with the Dan Tyminski Band have become bluegrass fan favorites and are regularly on the must-see lists among music fans of any genre. \nWith his newest album release – the Grammy-nominated 2024 concert album Dan Tyminski: Live From The Ryman – he captures the magic of those live shows\, while also proving that he still has the same passion for live music as he did when he was growing up. \nHis earliest touring and recording work was as a part of the band\, Green Mountain Bluegrass. He later joined the influential bluegrass group\, Lonesome River Band\, before embarking on his three decades of work with Alison Krauss and Union Station. \nThe first album that Tyminski recorded as a solo artist was the soul-stirring Carry Me Across the Mountain (2000)\, followed by the Grammy-nominated Wheels (2008) which was named the 2009 Album of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association. His work with the EDM artist\, Avicii\, inspired Dan to create the genre-defying Southern Gothic album\, released in 2017 to much critical acclaim. Tyminski would then showcase again his heart for bluegrass with the 2022 EP tribute to Tony Rice\, One More Time Before You Go\, which included guest performances by Molly Tuttle\, Sam Bush\, Dailey & Vincent\, and Billy Strings. The following year saw the release of the full-length bluegrass album\, God Fearing Heathen\, which quickly hit #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Albums chart. \nOver the course of his career\, Tyminski has also evolved into a prolific songwriter\, penning songs with Monty Criswell\, Phillip Lammonds\, Kristian Bush\, Ashley Monroe\, Chris Stapleton and many others. \nDan has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards and is a four-time Male Vocalist of the Year honoree by the International Bluegrass Music Association. He has also recorded instrumental or vocal harmony contributions for projects by Martina McBride\, Reba McEntire\, Brad Paisley\, Dolly Parton\, Willie Nelson\, Joan Osborne\, Charlie Daniels\, Kenny Chesney\, LeAnn Rimes\, Rob Thomas\, and Charlie Haden\, to name a few. Tyminski certainly represents the pinnacle of modern bluegrass music. \nWhile Dan enjoys a good conversation and a good cigar\, he can often be found participating in charitable Pro-Am golf tournaments\, as well as competing regularly in the Foosball tournament circuit. \n

SUMMARY:The WDVX Big Plate – 1/9 – Anders Thomsen
DESCRIPTION:Purveyor of quality honky-tonk\, blues\, country and roots rock. \n\nAnders Thomsen has deep roots. This midwestern boy grew up on the music that makes America. The Twang of the Opry on a Saturday night\, the Rock n Roll on the stereos in the Chevys and the Fords and the Blues and Soul spilling out of the nightclubs he snuck into. He heard all that and made it his own. \nHe picked up the heartbreak and the joy of the blues\, and matched it with the lonesome\, lovelorn hillbilly waltz and powered it all with those rock and roll V-8s. \nHe got an early start\, playing in bars and nightclubs before he was old enough to drive\, sometimes even with a note from his mother.  He sang\, played guitar\, played bass and even played the washtub. Anything to get him on stage to learn the craft.

SUMMARY:Scruffy Roots Fest - 10/4 - Vaden Landers\, Wyatt Ellis & a Tom Petty Tribute from The Deep Fakes
DESCRIPTION:Kerns Food Hall presents the first-ever Scruffy Roots Fest Saturday evening October 4th at five p.m. on the big stage outdoors with live music from Vaden Landers\, Wyatt Ellis and a Tom Petty Tribute from The Deep Fakes. Doors at 4 p.m. Thanks to Sugarlands Distillery for their support. WDVX is a media sponsor. \n8pm to 9:30pm – Wyatt Ellis\n6:15pm to 7:45pm – The Deep Fakes (tom petty tribute set)\n5pm to 6pm – Vaden landers \nFrom the enchanting landscapes of Eastern Tennessee comes the burgeoning talent of Vaden Landers\, a 30-year-old artist weaving a tapestry of melodies that harken back to the golden era of country music. Vaden’s journey began as a train-hopping troubadour and street-busker\, crafting songs that resonate with the very soul of Americana. \nAffectionately dubbed “The Yodeling Country Bluesman\,” Vaden has etched his name into the vibrant streets of Asheville\, North Carolina. His authenticity shines as a torchbearer of the classic country tradition\, infused with a contemporary spark. \nWith an eclectic fusion of honky-tonk\, rockabilly\, folk\, blues\, ragtime\, jazz\, western swing\, and old-time Appalachian influences\, Vaden Landers emerges as a pioneer breathing new life into the traditional country music scene. His performances at various music festivals\, including the illustrious WoodyFest and the renowned Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion\, have left audiences enraptured. \nAs Vaden Landers takes the stage\, he invites you to embark on an enthralling journey – one that transcends time and genre. \n \nWyatt Ellis has accomplished more by age 16 than many musicians do in a lifetime. Hailing from the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee\, he’s quickly emerging as one of bluegrass music’s brightest young stars. With virtuosic mandolin playing\, heartfelt vocals\, and original songwriting\, Wyatt blends the deep traditions of bluegrass with a fresh\, youthful energy. Backed by a powerhouse band of Appalachia’s finest young musicians\, Wyatt delivers high-octane performances that range from the Grand Ole Opry to major festivals like MerleFest and Gray Fox. His band’s signature single-mic setup showcases their tight harmonies\, high-lonesome vocals\, and blistering solos\, creating a sound steeped in tradition yet driven by the future. Wyatt’s breakout year included a debut at the Newport Folk Festival\, chart-topping original instrumentals from his debut album\, and becoming one of the youngest regular performers in Grand Ole Opry history. His authentic Appalachian songwriting and seasoned stage presence have quickly set him apart as a once-in-a-generation talent with a deep respect for bluegrass music’s heritage. 2024’s IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year and twice nominated for IBMA’s New Artist of the Year\, Wyatt has collaborated with legends like Peter Rowan\, Marty Stuart\, and the late Bobby Osborne. His January 2025 release\, Winds of Rowan County\, a duet with Rowan\, celebrated bluegrass roots while symbolically passing the torch. Wyatt’s lead and harmony mandolin solo on Bobby Osborne’s final recording of “Rocky Top\,” along with their co-written instrumental “Fern Branch\,” were both featured on Osborne’s posthumous album\, a tribute to Wyatt’s connection to his hero and mentor. With a debut vocal album of all-new original songs on the way\, Wyatt Ellis stands poised at the forefront of bluegrass\, honoring the legacy of the genre while boldly pushing it forward into a new era. \n \nFrom rock ‘n roll to new wave\, The Deep Fakes play spot on versions of our favorite music of the cassette and vinyl era. Whether it’s a chart topping hit or a deep cut\, every effort is made to accurately capture and reproduce the original studio release. \n  \n \n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

With the release of her first album under her own name\, “Evie’s Great Adventure\,” the fiddler/vocalist ready to deliver the main course. \nThe new album is flat-out feel-good music delivered with the same heart and soul that’s made Evie a popular performed all across the Southeast. \nMaybe you caught her bands Barefoot Sanctuary or Buffalo Fiasco\, or heard her backing up renowned cellist Dave Eggar\, irreverent singer-songwriter Roger Alan Wade\, or performing at the Big Ears Festival with improvisational great Lonnie Holley\, or maybe you spotted her backing up Foreigner on a short tour. There’s also the possibility that you heard her music on the HBO series “The Outsider” or saw her appearance on “American Ninja Warrior.” \nBorn in Fargo\, N.D. and raised in Minot\, N.D.\, Evie began playing fiddle at six years old in her father’s band Crossroads\, but she was already a stage veteran. She first performed on stage at the age of 3\, blowing a train whistle\, on one of her father’s songs. \n \nIn a musical world where singer-songwriters are a dime a dozen\, you will find in Jon Whitlock a refreshingly unique sound: a combination of gorgeous original melodies and intellectual\, poignant stories that will surprise you and move you. \nOriginally trained as a drummer\, he was drawn not just to the performance side of drumming\, but even more so to the creative side. Traveling the world as a drummer for touring bands\, the vast experiences of life\, love\, and loss inspired his creative side. Eventually he picked up a guitar\, taught himself to play in a style that made sense to his percussive background\, and started writing songs about what makes us human. What emerged is a beautifully melodic and rhythmic finger-picking guitar sound mixed with poetic\, philosophical\, romantic\, and humorous lyrics. Jon has a knack for understanding the human experience; the words he writes\, his gentle demeanor\, and the style of his playing immediately draw you in and make you want more. Constantly working on new songs\, he has a wealth of original material but also enjoys covering unexpected yet recognizable songs from his favorite artists. \n \nRaised on American Roots music in Eastern Tennessee\, Daniel Kimbro is a multi Grammy-nominated musician with 20 years experience performing alongside luminaries including Eric Clapton\, Jerry Douglas\, John Hiatt\, Transatlantic Sessions\, Sarah Jarosz\, Larkin Poe & many others. \nWhile his collaborations are numerous\, his new solo album Carpet In The Kitchen showcases Daniel’s skills as a songwriter\, composer & arranger. Guests on the album include Jerry Douglas\, Mike Baggetta on electric guitar\, & Jordan Perlson on Drumset. \nKnown to International audiences for his work with the Transatlantic Sessions\, Martin Harley\, Harley Kimbro Lewis\, and many others\, Daniel continues to tour throughout the US\, the UK\, and Canada. \n \nMartin Harley has been making music and touring the world for over two decades. His sound has never been more down to earth. Exploring roots\, blues and slide guitar in a style The Guardian referred to as ‘Spellbinding’\, Harley has released eight albums to date\, four recorded on home soil and four across the Atlantic in Texas and Nashville. \nAn album with Grammy nominated Daniel Kimbro and Sam Lewis is on the way for 2022. The three have collaborated live since 2014. “We’ve all jumped of a few rocks together\, physically and mentally\, this record has got scars\, bars and underwater superheroes” 2021 includes some intimate acoustic shows for Martin with a band tour in the autumn. martinharley.com for tours and tickets. \nHis recent nominations include\, AMA instrumentalist of the year\, Best Acoustic Guitarist\, Best Acoustic Blues artist. Notable appearances include Glastonbury Acoustic and Avalon stages\, Beautiful Days\, Royal Albert Hall\, Union Chapel\, Bluebird Nashville\, Tønder Festival\, The Troubadour LA and at home round the fire pit with his two daughters. \n \nSam Lewis isn’t just a musician. He’s a weaver of tales\, capturing the essence of human experience in every note and lyric. Chris Stapleton calls him “a modern Townes Van Zandt\,” with good reason. Lewis’s voice\, often likened to molasses dripping from a Southern porch\, carries a soulful weight that transcends genre. His music is a gumbo of feel-good grooves and vital social commentary. It is a testament to years spent honing his craft on the red dirt roads of the American Southeast.  Read Sam’s biography to learn more about this soulful storyteller weaving tales of humanity. \n \nTexas Tony & The Tornado Ramblers will be bringing some Honky Tonk Outlaw Country to the show!
