DESCRIPTION:Roots Rock and Blues Guitarist – Songwriter\n\nKarl Stoll is a an award winning songwriter\, singer\, guitarist and band leader from Northern Virginia. He is best known for leading the roots rock & blues band The Danger Zone. They have been playing in the Washington DC area for more than 20 years. The band appeared on NPR’s “A Prairie Home Companion” with Garrison Keillor. \nOn September 21\, Karl will release his new single\, I Love You Anyway. Earlier this year he released Time is a Gift and In the Blink of an Eye. They are on all the streams now. \nLast year (2025)\, The Danger Zone released the album\, The Machines are Taking Over. Then released two single protest songs: The Great Divide and The Con Man.\nThe band was a finalist for a 2026 Wammie Award for Best Blues Song\, “That’s All I Know”. \nThe Danger Zone previously released two albums: Take a Ride (2011) and The Workhouse (2022). Both albums were well received and earned positive reviews. You can catch Karl performing in the DC region with The Danger Zone\, The Power Trio\, or as a solo acoustic singer/songwriter.
