Maple Lane Farms presents the Strawberry Jam Festival this Friday & Saturday in Greenback, just 10 minutes from Foothills Mall in Maryville. Friday is Farm Support Appreciation Day and is open to the public starting at 6:00p.m. with live swing and jazz music. Saturday is Armed Forces Day with complementary admission to all active, retired, and reservists with ID. Music starts at 1:00p.m. and features bluegrass from Blue Highway, Pine Mountain Railroad, Dan Paisley, Raymond Fairchild and 12-year old Laurel Wright . Food, crafts, and camping available. WDVX & Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson & Buell are proud to announce this years line up for the High Life Americana Series at the SHED. Todd Snider will perform on May 31st, Billy Joe Shaver returns to the Shed on June 28th, John Hiatt will be in concert on July 12, The Hackensaw Boys visit the shed on July 26th and Mary Gauthier rounds out the series on August, 16th. Wild Wing Café presents the Monday Night Shin Dig with live bluegrass entertainment. with Maci Bell & Friends on May 12, and on Monday, May 19th the Smoky Mountain String Band will perform.
