Wendy loves music, all kinds of music. But she has a special love for traditional Irish tunes and songs. Multiple years ago, she heard some acquaintances playing trad tunes at a gathering and was hooked. The melodies were similar to what she’d heard in her head every since she was a kid. It is hard to get enough of it. Plus there’s a such a variety in the way trad music is interpreted these days from straight trad to crossover to rock, etc. It’s her pleasure to give listeners a taste of what’s out there. “Music is a universal language whether it’s trad, blues or rock and WDVX speaks it all.
