During the day, Jazz Me Blues host Bradley Reeves works as an audio-visual archivist for the Tennessee Archive of Moving Image and Sound in Knoxville, Tennessee, preserving the sights and sounds of the East Tennessee region.
By night, Reeves may be found indulging in his passion for jazz and blues music, spinning countless vinyl and shellac recordings on his home Hi-Fi!
A lifelong record enthusiast, Reeves prefers the warm sound of record discs, and spends his free time digging up the obscure, unique, and forgotten recordings usually found in thrift stores, estate sales, basements, attics, or wherever a pre-loved disc might be found!
Bradley enjoys sharing the gems from his record collection every Thursday night, a collection of 78, 45, and 33 1/3 rpm jazz, swing, blues, jump-blues, and lounge music spanning the 1920s through the 1960s.
Tune in and discover a world of great, sometimes obscure gems that have fallen through the digital cracks!
