WDVX presents the first ever K-Town Sound Show & Raffle Drawing Party on Saturday, August 29th from noon till 8:00p.m. at the Worlds Fair Park Amphitheater in Knoxville. Featured acts include RobinellaThe Bearded, The Drunk Uncles, The Leadbetters with Phil Leadbetter, Brendon James Wright & the WrongsVan Eaton & Friends, The Early Morning Stringdusters, The Tennessee Shines Band, the Black Cadillacs, Y'uns, Medford's Black Record Collection, The Relentless Blues Band and more. The K-Town Sound Show will start at noon on Saturday August 29th with a Special Saturday Blue Plate Special. Proceeds to benefit WDVX. Tickets are $10, UT Students $5 at gate with student ID. Children under 12 free. Free Parking on weekends at:There is plenty of free parking downtown: World's Fair Park North Lot (100 spaces); Blackstock Lot A (West of The Foundry- used to be metered parking) Blackstock Lot B (Behind The Foundry) Blackstock Lot C (East of The Foundry - at the stop sign); Fort Kid Lot (across from the Knoxville Museum of Art, 78 spaces); Market Street Garage; State Street Garage; Locust Street Garage and all meters all day on weekends.
